Karina & Gabe’s Wedding 9.1.17

This past Friday I got a chance to DJ for a much anticipated wedding. I’ve been friends with Karina & Gabe for a long time. I knew a lot of the guests who attended this wedding. The expectation was very high. Everyone knew this was going to be the wedding of the year for them.

Well, this wedding didn’t disappoint. The venue was beautiful and spacious: Martin’s West- Baltimore, MD.

Three hours of dancing, including an “hora loca” with props.

I wish I can rewind time and go back to Friday, 9/1/2017.

Litzy’s Sweet 16

Litzy’s sweet 16 was filled with beautiful formalities to honor her transition from a young girl to a young woman.

We provided pink & amber uplight pattern, with a memorable slideshow by the cake. Once the dancing started people didn’t waste time to party.

Robert & Annie

Dating in today’s world has become technologically advanced. But one of the best ways to meet someone may still be the old-fashioned way — face to face during a routine part of your day. Grocery stores can be a great environment to meet and fall in love. This is Robert and Annie’s love story. Their love story began at a grocery store and they became one on June 11, 2016.

As beautiful as a wedding ceremony is, and as delicious as wedding cake is, it really is the partying that makes a wedding memorable. It’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life, and that sentiment is always reflected by how much fun the guest are having on the big day. And guess what? If the guests aren’t having fun, then the bride and groom are probably not either. This was not the case in Robert and Annie’s wedding.

Everybody has a song they can get excited about. The second a guest hears “their song” come on, it’s only a matter of seconds before the dance floor fills up.

A dance floor that is too small will keep people from joining in. Robert and Annie’s dance floor was the perfect size.

 

 

 

The wedding reception was at the beautiful U.S. Naval Academy Chapel. The Chapel is one of the primary symbols of this National Historic Landmark. Its immense copper dome is the first thing seen when approaching Annapolis by land, air or sea.The Naval Academy chapel is an exclusive, one of a kind place for a wedding ceremony. Either the bride or groom must be alumni, military staff, faculty, or military personnel who regularly attend services at the chapel. Located on the campus of the USNA in downtown Annapolis, the chapel was opened in 1908. The building is beautiful and enormous, and was featured on a US Postal Service postage stamp in 1995. Recently renovated, the chapel seats 2500.

No Rain On May 13, 2016

“Rain Rain Stay Away, Come Back Another Day!”

Spring of 2016 wasn’t full of sunshine and warm weather in the state of Virginia. It seemed as if the rain was never going to stop. For an outdoor wedding it can be a very stressful time for the bride and groom. All Tamara and Shaun could do was hope that on May 13, 2016 the rain would stay away. So it was! On the day of their wedding, the rain stayed away! Although there were scattered clouds in the beautiful blue sky, the glimpse of sun was shining through them. They were so excited and full of joy on their wedding day, it was contagious. The wedding party along with the guest smiled and rejoiced for them.

Salamander Resort & SpaThe couple married at the beautiful Salamander Hotel & Spa, located in Middleburg, VA. Surrounded by the beauty of Virginia’s Horse Country, you’d be hard pressed to find a better locale for a luxury resort with an equestrian flair. Architecturally, the resort resembles a grand manor, one designed to meld with the surrounding environs, and the eco-friendly building is LEED-certified. The region is dotted with estates, horse farms and vineyards that produce grapes for more than 50 Virginia wineries.

Tamara&Shaun2With over 20,000 square feet of beautiful ballrooms, sweeping lawns and secluded terraces, their stunning equestrian setting offers an array of spectacular on-site venues for all sizes of ceremonies and receptions, as well as the surrounding lush vineyards and centuries-old churches.

 

The guest and wedding party danced from the moment the first song was played, until the very last song. What a pleasure it was to see so many smiling faces as they danced alongside the bride and groom.
